“Aaja Mexico Challiye” opens as a bold, bittersweet road tale dressed in Punjabi colours — part comedy, part social commentary, entirely humane. On the surface it’s a migration caper: a group of young Punjabis scheming to cross borders in search of greener pastures. Beneath that journey, the film probes the anxieties, aspirations and contradictions of a generation raised to believe migration equals success.
